Who are we?
What will you do?
Boomkwekerij Akkermans is a family business specialising in growing avenue trees. We do this in Oosterhout on 40 hectares of our own land. Green fingers are in our genes. For five generations.
Winter months
- pruning trees to keep them in top condition
- preparing orders: sold trees are loaded by crane onto a trailer and then transferred to trucks
- work in our shed: pruning small trees that we later replant in the nursery
A day with us is never the same! You work in the open air while enjoying nature. Depending on the season, your duties will be as follows:
Summer months
- installing bamboo canes and tying up newly planted trees
- pruning trees and ensuring healthy growth
- And many more varying tasks!
No experience?
No problem!
Are you motivated to work in a green environment, but do not yet have focused experience? No worries! We will be happy to teach you the ropes.
